Situated on an old “executive nine” golf course. Golf carts are available daily. Day Passes can be purchased in the pro shop for $5, cart fees are $10 per person. Use of terrain, obstacles, and elevation has been maximized to provide a challenging yet rewarding experience.
Risk vs. reward is a prominent theme found on many holes; Hole #1 chief among them. With a narrow fairway bordered by Sunset Lake on the right and ahead, and OB areas left, players must choose whether to lay-up before the bridge or attack the green over the lake. Only well-placed drives will stay dry, “The Lake Takes.”
There is a main and alternate set of tee pads at the course (alternate tee pads will get concrete in Spring of 2015). They are positioned in such a way as to give the feel of an 18 hole course, with only a few of the shots being similar from either tee.
There is also a Restaurant and Bar (Sunset Hills Eatery) located a putters throw away from the first tee pad, meaning adult beverages bought inside are allowed on the course, provided they are enjoyed responsibly. Daily Passes and Yearly Memberships are available at very reasonable rates.
